John F. DaCruz
Registered Architect: New Jersey, New York State, Pennsylvania, NCARB Certified
John DaCruz has over 20 years of experience in high-end highly detailed residential and commercial buildings and interiors. John has also taught design as an adjunct instructor at New Jersey Institute of Technology and has served as a visiting critic at New York Institute of Technology. John earned a Bachelor of Architecture – Magna Cum Laude from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Masters of Architecture from Princeton University. While at NJIT, he was awarded the AIA Henry Adams Medal, the NJIT School of Architecture Medal & the 5th Year Design Award for outstanding design achievement. John’s work has been exhibited at NJIT, Rutgers University, and Plymouth State College in Plymouth, NH. In 2009 John’s work was exhibited at Design Within Reach in Princeton. John has worked as project designer and manager in the offices of Guenther Petrarca, Resolution 4: Architecture and Penny Yates Architect all in New York City.
Sara L. Segal
LEED AP, Registered Architect: New York, Massachusetts, NCARB Certified
Sara Segal has 20 years of experience in architecture. She has worked on large international projects with a focus on museum, educational, and residential facilities. Sara is a LEED accredited professional with an extensive understanding of current innovations in residential green building design. She has won several awards for projects in Israel and more recently has won the Residential Architect Design Award from Residential Architect Magazine for her restoration of the Lauck House in Princeton, NJ by Marcel Breuer. Sara earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. Prior to establishing DaCruz Segal Architecture Sara has worked as a senior project designer and project manager in the offices of Farewell Mills Gatsch Architects, Hillier architecture and RMJM Architects in Princeton NJ as well as other established firms in Israel.
